Rachel Corrie: A Martyar For Justice and Peace

The autopsy on Rachel Corrie’s body was performed by Dr. Yehuda Hiss of the Abu Kabir Institute of Forensic Medicine in Tel Aviv. Hiss was later identified as a key player in Israeli human organ trafficking and he was dismissed from his position. Hiss stood accused of stealing organs, bones and tissue samples from corpses and selling them.

UN: Israel Has Violated International Law

UN Report On freedom flotilla:
The United Nations released the result of an investigation it launched in August following the Israeli raid on the Mavi Marmara boat. The UN Human Rights Council Fact-finding Mission stated that Israel violated international law, including international human rights law. The UN described the Israeli attack on the flotilla was disproportionate and unacceptably brutal and called the embargo imposed on Gaza unlawful.

“Abdullah need not go to Jerusalem, as Anwar Sadat did, or recognize Israel. He can, though, still have a huge impact on the process by simply handing his plan to the leader for whose country it was intended. I can’t think of anything that would get these peace talks off to a better start. It feels to me as though Netanyahu is taking this moment seriously, but he is still very wary. By handing him the Abdullah plan, the Saudi monarch would unleash a huge peace debate in Israel.
